The design of a park on the old Arsenal Site

I designed a large park on the site of the old Woolwich arsenal while working with the Greater London Council. The ground which was contaminated in places was to be capped using material dredged from the Thames. The old Victorian munitions silos were to be restored and used to create a park which would retell the history of the arsenal. The level pathways used to support the tracks which carried the munitions were to be turned into visitor paths. Access via a new light railway. Additional attractions included a large butterfly house.
