The use of sculpture in the landscape

At Barnard's Wharf I wanted to create a more interesting riverside walkway which connected a children's play area to an urban farm. I chose six sculptors to create a procession of bronze farm animals makes its way along the walkway to the farm. The animal designs are traditional breeds, portrayed sometimes in a light hearted way, and children can sit on them. At one end, a fox stalks some geese, and at the other, a barn owl and a cat eye the mouse, which is placed on the river wall with Canary Wharf, London's tallest building behind.
